Invoice

A document requesting payment for goods or services supplied.

An invoice is a document requesting payment from a customer. UK VAT-registered businesses must include specific information on VAT invoices: invoice number, date, supplier and customer names/addresses, VAT registration number, item descriptions, VAT rate, totals.
