Letters and numbers telling your employer how much PA to apply via PAYE.
Your tax code tells your employer how much Personal Allowance to apply via PAYE. Standard 2025/26 code: 1257L. Letters indicate adjustments: K = negative (taxable benefits exceed PA), BR = basic rate, NT = no tax, M/N = Marriage Allowance.
