PAYE Notice of Coding

HMRC letter telling you your tax code and how it's calculated.

A Notice of Coding is HMRC's explanation of how your tax code was calculated. Sent each March (or when something changes — e.g. you start a benefit-in-kind). Always check it — wrong codes are common.
