Traditional accounting

Accruals-basis accounting — record income/expenses when earned/incurred, not paid.

Traditional accounting (accruals basis) records income when earned (invoiced) and expenses when incurred — regardless of when cash moves. Required for Ltd companies. Optional for sole traders (cash basis is now default).
