Tax written down value

Asset value remaining after capital allowances claimed — used for disposal calc.

The Tax Written Down Value (TWDV) is what remains in the asset pool for tax purposes after capital allowances. When you sell the asset, the difference between sale price and TWDV is a Balancing Charge (or Allowance).
