Owner of property let to tenants — rental income is taxable via Self Assessment.

A landlord is the owner of let property. Rental profit (income minus allowable expenses) is taxable via SA105. Mortgage interest restriction (Section 24) means individual landlords get only a 20% basic-rate tax credit on mortgage interest — not full deduction.
