Non-resident
Someone who fails the Statutory Residence Test — taxed only on UK-source income.
A non-resident for UK tax is someone who fails the Statutory Residence Test (SRT). They pay UK tax only on UK-source income (rental, employment, gains on UK property) — not on worldwide income.
