Dividend allowance
£500 of dividends per year (2025/26) that's tax-free, regardless of tax band.
The dividend allowance is the slice of dividends you receive each year tax-free, regardless of your tax band. Slashed from £2,000 to £1,000 (2023/24) then £500 (2024/25 onwards).
