Class 3 National Insurance
Voluntary NI to fill gaps in your record and qualify for state pension.
Class 3 NI is voluntary — paid to fill gaps in your contributions record (e.g. years abroad, low earners). Cost: £17.45/week in 2024/25. You generally need 35 qualifying years for full state pension.
